We alway hate leaving Utah but our next destination was the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The good thing about the North Rim is that it is not crouded. Of course part of the reason for that is that we went so late in the year. It's September 26 and all the children are back in school. We schedule our trips late in the year to coordinate with school resuming leaving lots of camping spaces and no lines to wait in. It works perfectly for us.
After two days we decided to head home. The remaining photos are from the ride home.
I love to travel and visit places I've never been and I love to share those places through photographs. That's what this blog is about, the places I've been and where I'm going. I hope you will look at the blog and photos and check back later for other adventures. You can also find more photos on my flickr site at http://flickr.com/dewesemilstead/ or click the link below

UTAH September 2016
After Colorado came Utah. We always look forward to visiting Utah because it is so different than the other states we have visited. The landscapes are captivating and seem out of this world.
Arches National Park is always one of our stops.
A short hike and so very worth it.
